Hodgkins Lymphoma
This is the less common form of lymphoma. There are about 5 types of Hodgkins Lymphoma. The difference between the 2 is that Hodgkins Lymphoma seems to spread from one lymph node to the next in a more systematic fashion whereas non-Hodgkins Lymphoma which can skip an area and move to other parts of the body.
There are several factors that can predispose people to getting non-Hodkins lymphoma, they are :
- people who have had the Epstein Barr virus (mononucleosis or glandular fever)
- people exposed to pesticides, herbicides
- people with a family history of Hodgkins lymphoma
